Disability

Every moment of every day, I feel pain. It ranges from mild to agonizing with far more of the latter. Once-simple tasks are now challenging — what used to be tough is now almost impossible. On a good day, I feel like crap.

I've been thinking about getting a dog. The responsibility won't be entirely my own, and I think that the rehabilitive aspects of a companion pup might help me heal. I've been unwell now for years, and I'm amazed that I've gotten anything done with my crippled shoulder.

At least I think that I have a better idea as to the cause of my pain now. After dozens of medications and thousands of pills, its often hard to even care about a possible light at the tunnel's end. Everything just hurts too much.

But I've gotten through some of it, and I've been helped out by wonderful people and amazing things. I've met some great people, and I've learned a lt about myself and my friends. I've read a lot and I've been writing; trying to do whatever I can, taking advantage of the down-time that my life is based around. The iPad has really helped me — I can finally do desktop tasks from anywhere in my home. It's changed my life.

I really hope that new blogging software is created for the iPad and that I can solve my problem with publishing PDFs from Pages. Now that I have this wonderful tool, I want to write more and share all that I can.
