What is “Bradtastic Approved?”
Quite simply, something Bradtastic Approved is freaking amazing. I created this “award” several years ago, to tag (and hashtag) worthy things — a quick way to label something as endorsed by me.
The title has evolved since. Now, it applies to places and some people as well, though very rarely.
Something Bradtastic Approved is:
- fantastic — top quality, elite.
- endorsed by Bradtastic Brad Chin [and superfloo.us / (not) superfluous, naturally.]
- something that I have personal experience with (I do not endorse what I do not know)
Bradtastic Approved usually means:
- I use or own it.
- You will love it, too.
Sometimes, I’ll declare something “Bradtastic Approved,” but, for whatever reason, I don’t actually have it. This is rare, and in these cases, the description will be accompanied by a disclaimer, aka a reason why.
Personal preferences vary. Just because I think that something is incredible, doesn’t mean you will. My online profiles and blogs can give you my background information, and from that, you can determine what to make of my reviews.
Sometimes people offer me things for free. I always appreciate this (especially if the “things” come from my wish list!), but this does not guarantee a Bradtastic Approved rating. However, I will always try to adequately thank peoples’ generosity. Regarding apps and software: if you offer me free software or a promo code, I will do my best to post an honest and thorough review.
